Challenge
Flat, aluminum DIY gutter guards with holes had little trees growing through them. That extreme clogging, excessive weight in the gutters and costly water damages put the home at a high risk. That’s why reliable gutter protection was so important. The right gutter protection keeps gutters free from all the leaves and debris that put a home at risk for expensive structural damage.
Solution
We removed all existing gutters, downspouts and debris from the home before inspecting and professionally tuning up all the fascia and soffit. We installed 5″ seamless gutters (aligned, flashed and sealed with 50-year sealant) in Royal Brown and secured them with hidden hangers every 3 ft. We also installed and protected the gutters with our Klean Gutter Leaf Guard. Then, we installed (4) first-story downspouts and (2) second-story downspouts – all 2×3 in Royal Brown.
