Gutter Protection FAQs
Are gutter covers, gutter screens, gutter guards and leaf guards the same things?
Yes and no. They all have the same intended purpose – gutter protection – but different designs make some systems more effective than others. The design of the Klean Gutter™ Leaf Guard does the job better than the competition because of its micro-mesh design and surgical-grade stainless steel material and installation. Leaves, debris and dirt all stay out of the Klean Gutter Leaf Guard system.
What is the installation process like?
When you choose Klean Gutters Midwest to install gutter protection, one of our employees will thoroughly inspect your gutters, make necessary repairs and then get to work custom-installing your Klean Gutter Leaf Guards. We’ll attach the product to the fascia rather than your roof so there’s no interference with your roof warranty.
Is there maintenance involved with gutter protection?
There shouldn’t be. One of the main reasons homeowners seek out gutter protection is so they don’t have to clean their gutters again. Because of the design of the Klean Gutter Leaf Guard system, it won’t collect debris or allow dirt in. And because it’s made of surgical-grade stainless steel, it won’t rust or corrode. That means you don’t have to paint or protect it – ever!
What sort of warranty do I get with my installation?
Klean Gutters Midwest offers a Lifetime Transferable No-Clog Guarantee. The manufacturer will repair the problem or refund 100% of the material purchase price for all Klean Gutter material installed on your home if the Klean Gutter Protection System:
- Allows your gutters to clog with debris
- Causes your system to fill with water and overflow
- Causes your residence to sustain any interior water damage from such an occurrence
